Los Giants tendrán la oportunidad de vengarse de los Cowboys por el partido de la semana 3 en el que Dallas le propinó a Big Blue su primera derrota de la temporada. Sin embargo, el equipo puede estar un poco corto de jugadores para el juego del jueves. Seis Giants, incluidos cinco titulares, tuvieron que abandonar el partido de Detroit por lesiones. 2. Actualización de lesiones: Wan'Dale fuera para todo el año
Durante la conferencia de prensa del lunes, Daboll no quiso entrar en muchos detalles sobre las lesiones, pero reveló que Wan'Dale Robinson sufrió una lesión del ligamento cruzado anterior lo que finaliza con su participación en la temporada. El prometedor receptor novato atrapó nueve pases para 100 yardas en el partido y se había convertido en una de las opciones de recepción más confiables del último mes.
"Wan'Dale hizo un buen partido", dijo Daboll. "Realmente iba en la dirección correcta".
El esquinero Adoree' Jackson sufrió una lesión en la rodilla al devolver una patada de despeje en la primera mitad del partido del domingo y posteriormente fue descartado. El esquinero Fabian Moreau también fue descartado tras sufrir una lesión en las costillas. Ambos fueron listados como no participantes en la práctica del lunes (las designaciones en la práctica son una proyección con el equipo limitado a lo que suceda en la semana corta), por lo que su estado de juego es incierto.

Los siete jugadores listados como DNP (No Juegan, por sus siglas en inglés) en el reporte de lesiones del lunes fueron TE Daniel Bellinger (ojo), OL Joshua Ezeudu (cuello), Feliciano (cuello), Jackson (rodilla), WR Richie James (rodilla), CB Moreau (oblicuo) y Phillips (cuello).
3. Sustitución del Ala Abierta (WR)
La lesión del ligamento cruzado anterior de Robinson es el último golpe para el cuerpo de receptores del equipo. Collin Johnson parecía estar preparado para desempeñar un papel importante en la ofensiva esta temporada antes de desgarrarse el tendón de Aquiles a finales del campo de entrenamiento. Poco más de un mes después, Sterling Shepard, el jugador más veterano del equipo, quedó fuera para el resto de la temporada tras una lesión del LCA.
