Los Jacksonville Jaguars han jugado en Londres cada temporada desde 2013 y han participado en 13 partidos internacionales, la mayor cantidad en la liga. Pittsburgh, Carolina, Cleveland y Dallas son los únicos equipos que han jugado en el extranjero solo una vez.

Los Giants jugarán su cuarto partido de temporada regular en Europa después de ganar tres partidos en tres estadios diferentes de Londres.
El 28 de octubre de 2007, los Giants ganaron el primer partido de temporada regular de la NFL jugado fuera de América del Norte al vencer a los Miami Dolphins, 13-10, ante una multitud de 81,176 personas en el estadio de Wembley.
