Giants vs. Vikings: 5 Players to Watch
Keep an eye on these five players when the Giants host the Vikings in Week 5.
CB JANORIS JENKINS: After he intercepted two passes in a bounce-back performance, Jenkins was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week. Minnesota boasts an elite receiving tandem in Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen.
QB DANIEL JONES: By leading the Giants to victories over Tampa Bay and Washington, Jones became the first Giants quarterback to win his first two starts since Danny Kanell in 1997 and the first rookie to do so since Phil Simms in 1979.
WR GOLDEN TATE: The NFL yards after catch leader since 2010 returns to the field this week and will play his first game in a Giants uniform.
LB DAVID MAYO: Signed just a month ago, Mayo has been thrust into a larger role with the injuries at inside linebacker. Mayo led the team with eight tackles last week and will now go against Dalvin Cook, one of the best running backs in the league.
RB WAYNE GALLMAN: With Saquon Barkley injured, Gallman stepped up and scored two touchdowns – one receiving and one rushing – in his first start of the season.
