Giants vs. Buccaneers: 5 Players to Watch
Keep an eye on these five players when the Giants travel to face the Bucs in Week 3.
WR STERLING SHEPARD: After he missed Week 2 with a concussion, Shepard has been cleared to play Sunday and provide a much-needed boost to the receiving corps.
C JON HALAPIO: Instead of snapping to a quarterback who has started 244 postseason and regular-season games, Halapio will help guide one doing it for the first time in Daniel Jones.
QB DANIEL JONES: The sixth overall pick will become the 14th quarterback since the 1970 merger to start his first NFL game in a Giants uniform.
CB JANORIS JENKINS: Jameis Winston has thrown 61 interceptions since the Buccaneers drafted the Heisman Trophy winner first overall in 2015, the most in the NFL in that time span. The Giants have yet to force a turnover this season.
LB RYAN CONNELLY: The rookie linebacker moved up on the depth last week and made his first career start. He recorded five tackles, including one for a loss.
