QB ELI MANNINGManning, who is 5-0 against the Rams in his career, needs 186 yards to become the seventh quarterback in NFL history to throw for 50,000 yards.

WR STERLING SHEPARDShepard, who has missed the last two games because of an ankle injury, is on track to play this Sunday. The second-year pro has 22 catches for 263 yards in five games this season, including a 77-yard touchdown.
