RB ANDRE WILLIAMSAndre Williams led the team last week with nine carries for 41 yards as he tries to carve out a role on offense and return to his 2014 numbers.

LB KELVIN SHEPPARDSheppard, who signed with the Giants this offseason after playing for the Bills (2011-12), Colts (2013) and Dolphins (2014-15), rotated in with the first team this week at middle linebacker. Jasper Brinkley has held that role since the second half of last season.

DE OWA ODIGHIZUWAAfter injuries limited his rookie campaign, the second-year pro is looking to become the third pass rusher behind Oliver Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul. He's on the right track after recording two sacks and three quarterback hits against the Dolphins.

WR STERLING SHEPARDThe rookie second-round pick recorded just one catch in his preseason debut, but it was an important one. The 24-yard play set up a short touchdown run by Rashad Jennings on the opening drive of the game.

LB B.J. GOODSONThe rookie fourth-round pick opened eyes in the preseason opener against Miami, racking up a team-high seven solo tackles (two for loss).
