5 players to watch vs. 49ers
Keep an eye on these five players as the Giants take on the 49ers Monday night.

TE EVAN ENGRAM
The second-year tight end looks to bounce back from issues with dropped passes in his last time out. "The one thing I'll say about Evan is, he works at it harder than any of our guys," coach Pat Shurmur said. "He's had a couple drops just like there's been some other guys that have dropped balls, but he works at it and if you believe in hard work changing the outcome of things, I feel good about him not having that be a problem."

LB ALEC OGLETREE
The defensive co-captain and former Ram returns from a hamstring injury to face a familiar foe in the San Francisco 49ers, whom he saw twice a season in his NFC West days.

DL B.J. HILL
The rookie third-round draft choice will be on the front line against Nick Mullens, who made one of the best quarterback debuts in NFL history last week, and the No. 4 rushing team in the league.

RB SAQUON BARKLEY
Barkley is on pace for 116 catches and has a chance to break four more receptions records in the second half of the season: most catches by a rookie running back (88 by Reggie Bush in 2006); most catches by a running back (102 by Matt Forte in 2014); most catches by an NFL rookie (101 by Anquan Boldin in 2003); and most catches by a Giants rookie (91 by Odell Beckham Jr. in 2014).

G JAMON BROWN
Brown, acquired last week off waivers from the Rams, will likely make his Giants' debut against the 49ers at right guard. Last season, he started all 17 games at right guard for the NFC West champions. This year, he played in six games for Los Angeles, which was the NFL's last unbeaten team before falling to New Orleans last Sunday.
