DE OLIVIER VERNONThe headliner of a major free-agent haul, Vernon comes to the Giants after four seasons in Miami, where he recorded 29 sacks, 43 tackles for loss and 74 quarterback hits.

CB ELI APPLEThe Giants' first-round pick and No. 10 overall choice was an All-Big 10 selection in 2015 and a freshman All-American in 2014, the year the Buckeyes won the national championship.

CB JANORIS JENKINSThe former Ram has 10 career interceptions and scored touchdowns on five of them, including a 99-yard return. Jenkins has also scored on a fumble return, making his six return touchdowns the NFL's highest total since 2012.

WR STERLING SHEPARDThe second-round draft pick, who has drawn comparisons to Victor Cruz, was an All-American after catching 86 passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns in his final season at Oklahoma. He finished his college career with 233 receptions for 3,482 yards and 26 scores.  

SAFETY DARIAN THOMPSONThe third-round choice from Boise State became the Mountain West's all-time interceptions leader with 19, passing the mark set by three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro safety Eric Weddle of the Baltimore Ravens when he played at the University of Utah.
