PITTSBURGH – Notes and statistics from the Giants' 26-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Acrisure Stadium:

*Tyrone Tracy continues to be one of the Giants' – and the NFL's – best fifth-round draft choices in recent years.

The rookie running back rushed for a season-high 145 yards on 20 carries, the longest a 45-yarder for the Giants' only touchdown with 11:07 remaining in the third quarter. Tracy is the first Giants running back with 100+ rushing yards and a rushing touchdown since Saquon Barkley vs. Houston on Nov. 13, 2022 (152 yards and one score).

Tracy, who ran for 129 yards in the Giants' victory in Seattle on Oct. 6, is the first Giants back with multiple 100-yard games in a season since Barkley in 2022, and the first rookie since Barkley in 2018.

Tracy's 145 yards was the highest rushing total by a Giants rookie since Barkley ran for 179 yards at Washington on Dec. 9, 2018. Tracy tied Eddie Price for the fifth-highest rushing total by a rookie in Giants history. Price ran for 145 yards at Baltimore on Nov. 19, 1950. The only rookies with more yards were Bill Paschal (188 yards vs. Washington on Dec. 5, 1943), Barkley (170 yards at Washington on Dec. 9, 2018), Price (156 yards vs. the New York Yanks on Dec. 3, 1950) and Ahmad Bradshaw (151 yards at Buffalo on Dec. 23, 2007).

*Tracy's 45-yard run was the Giants' longest offensive play of the season. The previous long plays were a pair of 43-yarders: Devin Singletary's run late in the victory at Cleveland on Sept. 22 in which he slid short of the goal line to keep the clock moving and Darius Slayton's 43-yard reception on the Giants' first possession Monday night – the Giants' longest completion of the season.

*Tracy's 45-yarder was the Giants' longest run since Wayne Gallman gained 60 yards at Seattle on Dec. 6, 2020, and the team's longest touchdown run since Barkley's 67-yarder at Washington on Dec. 22, 2019.

*Slayton gained 108 yards on just four receptions, his second 100-yard game of the season (122 yards at Seattle) and the seventh of his career.

*Slayton's four catches increased his career total to 249. That moved him past Aaron Thomas (247) and into 17^th place on the Giants' career list. Evan Engram is 16^th with 262.

*Slayton now has 3,744 career receiving yards. He moved ahead of Plaxico Burress (3,681) and Mark Bavaro (3,722) into 19^th place in team history.

*Malik Nabers caught a team-high seven passes for 71 yards. Nabers raised his season totals to 46 catches for 498 yards. Nabers is the third player in the Super Bowl era with 40+ receptions through his first six career games, joining Barkley (40 in 2018) and the Rams' Puka Nacua (50 in 2023).

*Daniel Jones completed 24 of 38 passes for 264 yards, no touchdowns and an interception on the Giants' final possession. He was sacked four times.

*Greg Joseph made all four of his field goal attempts, from 29, 39, 44 and 48 yards. Pittsburgh's Chris Boswell matched him with field goals of 31, 25, 27 and 27 yards.

*Linebacker Bobby Okereke led the Giants with 14 tackles (seven solo) and had their only takeaway when he forced and recovered a fumble by Pittsburgh quarterback Russell Wilson in the fourth quarter.

*The Giants couldn't capitalize because Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt forced and recovered a fumble by Jones on the fifth play of the ensuing possession. Jones threw his fifth interception of the season on the Giants' final possession. Intended for Singletary, the ball was picked off by Beanie Bishop.

*Azeez Ojulari twice sacked Wilson. Brian Burns had a 1.0 sack for the fourth consecutive game. Okereke and Micah McFadden split the Giants' final sack.

*The Giants' four sacks increased their season total to 35, one more than they had in the entire 2023 season.

*The Giants fell to 0-3 in primetime games in 2024. They have no more night games currently scheduled.

*Pittsburgh won its 22^nd consecutive Monday night home game. The last team to beat them was the Giants, on Oct. 14, 1991.

*The score was tied at halftime, 9-9. It was the fourth time this season the Giants did not score a first-half touchdown.

*Pittsburgh's Calvin Austin scored the game's first touchdown on a 73-yard punt return with 4:38 remaining in the third quarter. It was the first punt return touchdown by a Giants opponent since Detroit's Jamal Agnew reached the end zone on an 88-yard runback on Sept. 18, 2017. The special teams touchdown was the first by a Giants opponent since Sept. 10, 2023, when Dallas' Noah Igbinoghene returned a blocked field goal attempt 58 yards for a score. Juanyeh Thomas blocked Graham Gano's 45-yard try.

*The Giants did not intercept a pass for the seventh consecutive game.

*The Giants are 26-48-1 on Monday nights, including 16-33-1 on the road.

*Christopher Hubbard started at left tackle in his Giants debut. He replaced Josh Ezeudu, who played last week in place of the injured Andrew Thomas, who is out for the season after undergoing foot surgery. Hubbard was signed by the Giants on Oct. 18. He has previously played for Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Tennessee. The start was the 59^th of his career and his first at left tackle.

It was Hubbard's first game action since Nov. 19, 2023, for Tennessee at Jacksonville.

*The Giants' inactive players were cornerbacks Cor'Dale Flott (groin) and Adoree' Jacksom (neck), punter Jamie Gillan (hamstring), linebacker Ty Summers (ankle), defensive lineman Jordon Riley, offensive lineman Jake Kubas, and Tommy DeVito (third quarterback).

*Flott had started the previous six games. He was replaced by Nick McCloud and rookie Dru Phillips started in the slot. Phillips also played on the outside.

*Defensive tackle Armon Watts and cornerback Greg Stroman made their Giants' debuts. Watts, 6-5 and 307 pounds, had two tackles (one solo, a tackle for loss). Prior to joining the Giants, he played in 72 regular-season games with 22 starts for Minnesota, Chicago and Pittsburgh.

Stroman, 5-11 and 180 pounds, was elevated Monday from the practice squad, which he joined on Oct. 1. He had two solo tackles in extensive action in place of Deonte Banks, who did not play in the second half. A six-year veteran, Stroman played in 29 games with five starts for Washington (2018-20) and Chicago (2022-23).
