• Selected NFC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Giants to a Monday night victory vs. Green Bay (12/11)…Completed 17 of 21 passes (season-high 81%) for 158 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions for a passer rating of 113.9…Rushed 10 times for 71 yards…In the 74 seasons since the NFL began tracking starting quarterbacks in 1950, DeVito became the first starter in league history to complete 80% of his passes, rush for 70+ yards, commit no turnovers, and take no sacks.
• DeVito was the 2nd undrafted rookie in the common-draft era (since 1967) with an 80+ completion percentage (minimum 15 attempts) in a game…His 71 rushing yards were the most by a Giants rookie quarterback in a game since 1960.
• DeVito was the first Giants rookie quarterback to win 3 consecutive starts since Phil Simms won 4 in a row in 1979…He was just the 3rd undrafted rookie quarterback since the 1970 merger to win 3 starts in a season, joining Ed Rubbert, who won 3 strike-replacement games for Washington in 1987, and Pittsburgh's Devlin Hodges in 2019.
• DeVito's passer ratings in those 3 were 137.7, 103.9 and 113.9. He was the first undrafted rookie since 1967 with a 100+ rating in 3 straight starts.
• The only other rookie quarterback in 2023 with 3 consecutive games with ratings of 103.9 or higher (minimum 20 attempts) was Houston's C.J. Stroud, who was the 2nd overall choice in the 2023 NFL Draft and was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year…The last Giants quarterback with 3 straight games with 20+ attempts and 100+ passer rating was Manning from Sept. 21-Oct. 5, 2014…DeVito was the first Giants rookie quarterback to do it.
• DeVito led game-winning 4th-quarter drives vs. both the Patriots and Packers…He was the first undrafted rookie and the first Giants rookie to do it twice in one season.
• DeVito was the 7th Giants quarterback selected Player of the Week and they have received a total of 16 awards: Manning and Kerry Collins (4 each), Jones (3), Phil Simms (2), and Jeff Hostetler, Kent Graham and DeVito (one each).
• Posted season-high totals of 34 passes and 20 completions, for 177 yards, and ran 4 times for 36 yards at New Orleans (12/17)…Played the first half at Philadelphia (12/25) and completed 9 of 16 passes for 55 yards…Completed his only 2 passes for 14 yards vs. Philadelphia (1/7).

COLLEGE:

• Spent 5 years at Syracuse – including a redshirt season in 2017 – before transferring to Illinois for his final season in 2022.
• Completed 594 of 941 passes (63.1%) for 6,516 yards, 43 touchdowns and 16 interceptions…Also rushed for 253 yards and 10 scores…In his lone season with the Illini, started all 13 games and posted career highs in attempts (369), completions (257), passing yards (2,650), completion percentage (a school-record 69.6%) and rushing touchdowns (6)…Threw for a career-best 332 yards vs. Chattanooga…Completed 20 of 22 passes for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns at Nebraska, setting the Illinois program record and Memorial Stadium record for completion percentage (90.9)…Tied the Illini quarterback record with a career-high 3 rushing touchdowns at Wisconsin.
• Played in 27 games with 18 starts at Syracuse…Became the starter in 2019 and threw a career-high 19 touchdown passes…Limited to 4 games in 2020 because of an ankle injury…Threw a Syracuse-record 212 consecutive passes without an interception from 2019 through the first 2 games of 2020…2019 All-ACC Academic Team…Sociology major.

OFF-THE-FIELD ACTIVITY:

• Joined Project Kind, an organization to support those experiencing homelessness, to host an event with 125 people from the organization for a day of haircuts, spa treatments and lunch at MetLife stadium…The entire 2023 rookie class visited Harlem, where players were split into groups to visit 4 different schools and hosted a flag football clinic for 50 of the boys in the Harlem Giants program...To celebrate Halloween, dressed in costume to visit patients and distribute giftbags at Hackensack University Medical Center's Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital…Continued the annual rookie Thanksgiving tradition at the Community Kitchen located at the Food Bank for New York City in Harlem to hand out turkeys and meals for people in need…Met with members from the Wounded Warriors Project during their visit to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center to watch practice and enjoy a day with the Giants.

PERSONAL:

• Grew up in Cedar Grove, N.J., 15 minutes from Giants headquarters…Threw for 3,800 yards and 35 touchdowns at Don Bosco Prep…As a junior, led his team to a 9-3 record and the 2015 New Jersey Non-Public Group 4 state title…The Ironmen defeated St. Joseph of Montvale in the championship game played in MetLife Stadium.
