2023

• In 2023, played in 8 games…Made 11 of 17 field goal attempts, including 3 of 4 from 50+ yards, and all 8 of his extra point tries for 41 points…Had touchbacks on 23 of his 28 kickoffs (82.1%)…Made both of his field goal attempts, including a franchise record-tying 57-yarder, at San Francisco (9/21)…Kicked a 55-yard field goal vs. Seattle (10/2)…Booted a season-high 3 field goals at Miami (10/8) and at Buffalo (10/15)…Placed on injured reserve on Nov. 3 with a knee injury that required surgery.

2022

• In 2022, Gano played in all 17 regular-season games and 2 postseason games…Made 29 of 32 field goal attempts (90.6%) and 32 of 34 extra point tries for 119 points, the 5^th-highest total of his career, his 10^th 100-point season, and the most by a Giants kicker since Aldrick Rosas scored 127 points in 2018…Two of his missed attempts were a blocked kick vs. Carolina on Sept. 18 and a 58-yarder into the wind on the last play of overtime in the 20-20 tie vs. Washington on Dec. 4…Had touchbacks on 50 of 79 kickoffs (63.3%).
• Gano set a Giants record with 8 field goals of 50+ yards, one more than he had in 2021…Gano's 8 long field goals placed him in a 3-way tie for the league's 4th-highest total. Las Vegas' Daniel Carlson had 11, and Dallas' Brett Maher, Indianapolis' Chase McLaughlin and Baltimore's Justin Tucker all had 9. Gano tied Brandon McManus, then with Denver.
• Received his 5^th career NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award – and his 2^nd in as many years after a victory against Carolina - after kicking field goals of 36 and 33 yards in the first quarter and 51 and 56 yards in the 4th, the latter providing the game's decisive points with 3:34 remaining, in a 19-16 victory vs. the Panthers (9/18)…Gano has the only 2 games in Giants history in which a kicker boosted a pair of 50+-yard field goals in the 4th quarter or overtime. On Sept. 16, 2021, in Washington, he kicked 52 and 55-yarders – plus a 35-yarder – in the 4th.
• Kicked a pair of 51-yard field goals and a 42-yarder in 4 attempts vs. Dallas (9/26)...It was the first time in his career he made two 50+-yard field goals in consecutive games and the 6th game in which a Giants kicker had 2 field goals of 50 or more yards in a game...Gano has 5 of the 6…The only other Giants kicker to do it was Raul Allegre, who kicked 53 and 52-yarders at Philadelphia on Nov. 15, 1987.
• Tied the record for the longest field goal in Giants history with a 57-yarder at Dallas (11/24)…It was the longest field goal on the road in franchise history...Rosas kicked the Giants' only other 57-yarder, vs. Chicago on Dec. 2, 2018.
• Kicked two 50-yard field goals at Washington (12/18) and two 44-yarders and a 55-yarder at Minnesota (12/24)…The Vikings' Greg Joseph booted a 61-yard game-winning field goal…It was the first game in Giants history in which each team kicked a field goal of at least 55 yards.
• Booted a 25-yard field goal and 4 extra points in the NFC Wild Card Game at Minnesota (1/15).

2021

• In 2021, Gano played in all 17 games for the Giants and made 29 of 33 attempts (87.9%) and all 17 of his extra point tries for 104 points, his ninth 100-point season…Gano entered the season with 30 consecutive field goal attempts and extended his streak to 37 before missing in Week 4.
• Kicked a career-high 5 field goals at Washington (9/16), including 2 from 50+ yards…His 5 field goals made were tied for the most made in a game by a kicker in 2021…His 2 field goals vs. Atlanta (9/26), increased his consecutive successes to 37…Was wide left on a 35-yard try at New Orleans (10/3), his first unsuccessful attempt since Sept. 20, 2020 at Chicago…Later made field goals of 23 and 48 yards in an overtime victory.

2020

• In his first season with the Giants in 2020, Gano had one of the finest seasons of his career and by a Giants kicker…Made 31 of 32 attempts, a .9687 percentage that is the 2^nd-highest in Giants history…In 2018, Rosas made 32 of 33 attempts, a success rate of .9696…Gano's .9687 percentage was the highest among the 21 NFL kickers who attempted at least 25 field goals in 2020… Gano missed more extra points (2) than field goal attempts (one) in 2020, when he made 21 of 23 PATs.
• Gano's only miss was on a 57-yard try at Chicago (9/20)…After the miss, he made his next 30 field goal attempts, breaking Josh Brown's previous team record of 29 from 2014-15…The record-setter was a 50-yard field goal in the 4th quarter vs. Dallas (1/3)…It was Gano's fifth field goal of the season of 50 or more yards, including 4 vs. the Cowboys, which was a franchise single-season record.
• Gano kicked field goals of 52, 42 and 47 yards vs. San Francisco (9/27) to become the 2nd kicker in Giants history with 3 field goals longer than 40 yards in a regular-season game…On Dec. 22, 2013 in Detroit, Brown kicked field goals of 41, 52 and 45 yards to become the first Giants kicker to accomplish the feat.
• Gano tied an NFL record by becoming the first player in Giants history to kick 3 field goals of 50 or more yards in a game at Dallas (10/11)…He kicked field goals of 55, 50 and 54 yards, plus a 28-yarder…Gano was one of 3 players in 2020 to kick three 50+ yard field goals in a game…The others were Tennessee's Stephen Gostkowski (51, 54 and 55 at Minnesota on Sept. 27) and Buffalo's Tyler Bass (54, 55, 58 at Arizona on Nov. 15).
• Received his 3rd career NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award for his contributions to the team's victory in Washington (11/8), where he kicked field goals of 38, 48 and 42 yards and 3 of his 6 kickoffs were touchbacks.

• In 2019, Gano did not play football because of an injury he suffered in practice to his left (plant) leg the previous year.

2018

• In 2018, played in 12 games for Carolina before going on injured reserve…Converted 30 of 33 PAT attempts and 14 of 16 field goal tries for 72 points, his first sub 100-point season since 2012, his first year with the Panthers…Kicked 3 extra points and a season-high 4 field goals, including a game-winning, franchise-record 63-yarder vs. the Giants (10/7), a performance that earned him the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week and NFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October.

2017

• In 2017, played in all 16 regular season games and one postseason game…Converted 29 of 30 field goal attempts for a then career high 96.7%...Turned 70 of 83 kickoffs into touchbacks, a career-best and franchise-record 84.8%...Scored 121 total points (29 field goals, 34 PATs), his 5th consecutive 100-point season…Set a career-high with 6 extra points vs. Miami (11/13)…Converted 4 of 5 field goal attempts in one postseason game, including a career and franchise playoff-long 58-yarder in an NFC Wild Card Game at New Orleans (1/7).

2016

• In 2016, finished with 121 points…Kicked 30 field goals for the 2nd consecutive season (in 38 tries)…Scored 4 points vs. Minnesota (9/25) to pass Steve Smith (454 from 2001-13) for 2nd place on the Panthers' career scoring list…Set career high with 16 points (4 field goals and 4 PATs) vs. San Francisco (9/18)…Took over punting duties for an injured Andy Lee vs. Kansas City (11/13)...Punted 4 times for 180 yards with a long of 54.

• In 2011, played 16 games in his final season in Washington and led the team with 118 points…His 31 field goals (in 41 attempts) equaled the 2nd-most in franchise history...Tied the team record with 4 field goals of 50 or more yards…Booted a then-franchise record and career-long 59-yard field goal vs. San Francisco (11/6).

2010

2009

• Honored as the New York Giants 2023 Hometown Hero at the United Way of New York City's Gridiron Gala, which raised more than $2 million for United Way Programming…Honored as the New York Giants 2023 Salute to Service Award Recipient…Served as the Giants player ambassador for MetLife's First Responder Hats campaign to support the New York City Police Foundation's Far Rockaway and Harlem Giants, the FDNY Foundation and Port Authority Police PBA Widow's and Children's Fund…Partnered with the American Heart Association and Oakley to meet and play with students for 60 minutes and encourage them to be active and create healthy habits at Oradell (N.J.) Public School, and provided a $1,500 equipment grant…Visited Far Rockaway (N.Y.) High School to participate in a CPR and AED training led by the FDNY foundation, in which with both boys tackle and girls flag football players were trained in CPR/AED. NYPD officers and boys from the Far Rockaway Giants were in attendance and enjoyed a pizza party after the training…Visited the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge to spend time and share a meal with patients and their families….
