MAKE-THE-CASE-1

"Make the Case" is officially back on Giants.com for the 2025 NFL Draft.

In this series, we look at projections provided by analysts and then ask you, the fans, to weigh in on what the Giants should do in the draft.

First up, we're going to take a look at the latest first-round predictions from ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and Pro Football Focus' Trevor Sikkema.

Pick: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Height: 6-foot-1.5 | Weight: 212 pounds

2024 Stats: 13 games, 4,134 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, 10 interceptions, 74.0 completion percentage, 4 rushing touchdowns

Accolades: Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year (2024), Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (2024), First-Team All-Big 12 (2024), Deacon Jones Trophy (2022), SWAC Offensive Player of the Year, First-Team All-SWAC (2022), Jerry Rice Award (2021), SWAC Freshman of the Year (2021), Second-Team All-SWAC (2021)

"In Sanders, New York would get a super accurate passer (74.0% completion rate in 2024) who is tough as nails. Despite taking the most sacks in the FBS over the past two seasons (94), he also tied for second in touchdown passes during that time frame (64)."
