Eli Manning jokes about the Kelce brothers
ESPN's ManningCast is back.
Following a couple of weeks off the air, Eli and Peyton Manning return to their "Monday Night Football" alternate broadcast this week for the Giants-Seahawks Week 4 matchup.
The former Giants quarterback and two-time Super Bowl MVP recently sat down for an interview with Sports Illustrated's Robin Lundberg, where he joked that he's beginning to feel the pressure from another pair of brothers currently playing in the NFL - Jason and Travis Kelce.
"I want them to keep playing for a long, long time so they don't take Peyton and I's job," Manning said in the interview. "I've listened and watched their podcast a few times, they're very funny. We've had them on our show before, they do a great job. Great players, great characters. I'm a little worried and nervous they might try to take Peyton and I's job."
Of course, the Chiefs tight end has recently been connected to pop music sensation Taylor Swift, who Manning said he would love to get on the broadcast later in the year when the Chiefs are playing.
The ManningCast will be on the air for nine more games this season:
- Week 4: Seahawks vs. Giants (10/2)
- Week 5: Packers vs. Raiders (10/9)
- Week 7: 49ers vs. Vikings (10/23)
