Daniel Jones, Eli Manning teach football to local youth
Westhampton Beach High School (N.Y.) head coach Bryan Schaumloffel recently posted a video on Twitter of Eli Manning and Daniel Jones taking time out of their day to teach some young players.
"Eli has been great to our program," Schaumloffel wrote. "He is a class act and we have been very privileged to work with him. It was great to work with Daniel Jones today. Thank you to both of them."
Since retiring from the NFL following the 2019 season, Manning has been supportive of his heir apparent.
"He's done everything the right way," Manning said about Jones on 'The Pat McAfee Show' earlier this offseason. "He's done everything they've ever asked him to do. … He knew he had to cut down on the fumbles and the turnovers, he's done that. He's worked at it, he's been conscious of it. He's a true professional. He's a great leader. Guys respect him. I'm excited for him. He's going to continue to grow. He hasn't been in the same offense for multiple years. And now, in the same offense, [having] other guys in the same offense around him getting things going, I think he'll just continue to get stronger and better."
