Jason Pinnock wins American Cornhole League Celebrity Series
Over the weekend, safety Jason Pinnock and cornerback Cor'Dale Flott took part in the qualifying round of the American Cornhole League (ACL) Celebrity Event.
Eight NFL players were each matched with a cornhole pro as the teams competed in the third SuperHole V qualifier in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pinnock and ACL pro Ethan Walker wound up taking home the crown as SuperHole V Champions, along with the team of Bears offensive tackle Braxton Jones and ACL pro Daymon Dennis.
SuperHole V features 32 NFL players paired with 32 cornhole pros competing in a series of four qualifiers in New Orleans, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, and Canton. The location of the Championship event has yet to be determined.
Here is the full lineup of teams that competed in the Milwaukee qualifier this weekend:
- Giants cornerback Cor'Dale Flott (paired with ACL pro Terry Mathis)
- Giants safety Jason Pinnock (paired with ACL pro Ethan Walker)
- Packers running back AJ Dillon (paired with ACL pro Samantha Finley)
- Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine (paired with ACL pro Quinn Reeves)
- Falcons running back Bijan Robinson (paired with ACL pro Ryan Smith)
- Falcons running back Tyler Algeier (paired with ACL pro Jordan Power)
- Bears offensive tackle Braxton Jones (paired with ACL pro Daymon Dennis)
- Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (paired with ACL pro Nico Mireles)
Flott and Pinnock are not the first Giants players to take part in an ACL event.
Back in 2019, quarterback Daniel Jones went up against then-Jets quarterback Sam Darnold in a "battle of New York" cornhole event. This began the ACL's connection with the NFL, which has since seen many current and former players take part in league events, including Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, Jay Cutler, Doug Flutie, Aaron Jones, Jordan Poyer and others.
