Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux test out sack dance on fishing competition show
When the Giants completed their trade with the Carolina Panthers for outside linebacker Brian Burns, it created a formidable pass rushing duo between the former Panther and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
It didn't take long for the two edge rushers to start bonding.
Burns and Thibodeaux recently took part in The Catch, a celebrity fishing tournament put on by the Sport Fishing Championship (SFC).
The competition paired 14 NFL players with top SFC Anglers and used SFC's catch-and-release scoring system to compete for The Catch title.
While on the boat, the two Giants pass rushers tested out a potential new sack dance.
The list of NFL players that participated in the competition included Burns, Thibodeaux, James Bradberry, Jalen Carter, Dalvin Cook, James Cook, Trey Hendrickson, Alvin Kamara, Raheem Mostert, David Njoku, Jeffery Simmons, Rachaad White, Quinnen Williams and Quincy Williams.
Rising Son/Team Verizon, led by Kamara, Mostert and SFC Angler Jaselyn Berthelot, was crowned this year's winner of The Catch.
A $100,000 donation was made to the Coast Guard Foundation in the winning team's name.
In addition to the fishing tournament, Burns and Thibodeaux also made an appearance together at the Giants' 2024 Draft Party.
The Giants entered Phase 2 of the offseason workout program at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
