Brian Baldinger breaks down tape from Monday Night Football
The Giants put together one of their strongest overall performances of the season on Monday night against the Packers.
Quarterback Tommy DeVito helped lead the team to its third consecutive victory, which brought the Giants to within one game of the final Wild Card spot.
DeVito completed 17 of 21 passes (81 percent) for 158 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions for a passer rating of 113.9. He also added 10 rush attempts for 71 yards, good for an average of 7.1 yards per carry. The 25-year-old was especially impressive in the second half, when he completed 10 of 11 passes for 110 yards and the impressive eight-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Hodgins in the corner of the end zone. This led to DeVito being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Over the last four weeks, only San Francisco's Brock Purdy (133.0) has a higher passer rating than DeVito's 119.8.
NFL Network analyst Brian Baldinger broke down some tape of DeVito, in addition to Saquon Barkley and Kayvon Thibodeaux, from the win over the Packers.
