Numbers to know for Giants-Commanders

The New York Giants will hit the road for their first away game of the season when they travel to take on the Washington Commanders this Sunday.

The NFC East rivals are looking to rebound from their respective Week 1 losses. The Giants fell to the Minnesota Vikings, 28-6, at MetLife Stadium while the Commanders went down to Tampa Bay and lost to the Buccaneers, 37-20.

The Giants won each of the two meetings between the division rivals last year, and enter this week's game with a 3-0-1 record against the Commanders over the last two seasons.

Here are notes and stats from both teams ahead of the Week 2 matchup.

New York Giants

*QB Daniel Jones had 201 yards (186 pass, 15 rush) in Week 1. Has 5-1-1 record in 7 career starts vs. Was., with 11 TDs (10 pass, 1 rush) vs. 3 INTs for 98 rating. Aims for his 3rd in row at home vs. Was. with 70+ rush yards.

*ILB Bobby Okereke had 6th-career FR in Week 1. Had 14 tackles & 2 FFs in last meeting & aims for his 3rd in row vs. Was. with 11+ tackles. Had 7+ tackles in 8 of his 9 road games last season.

*ILB Darius Muasau (rookie) had 6 tackles, TFL & 1st-career INT in NFL debutin Week 1.
