Eli & Peyton Manning return as head coaches for 2025 Pro Bowl Games
NFL Legends Peyton and Eli Manning are set to return as head coaches at the 2025 Pro Bowl Games for the third-consecutive year, fueling their ongoing sibling rivalry in what's become a highlight of the Pro Bowl Games. Eli and the NFC have defeated Peyton and the AFC in each of the past two years, including a thrilling victory on the final play of the flag game last season, sparking anticipation for a rematch with fans eager to see if Peyton's team can settle the score.
"The Pro Bowl Games are all about having fun," said Peyton Manning. "It's always unpredictable, and we get to bring fans into the action and see the NFL's biggest names compete. And the best part about this year's games is knowing that my AFC team is going to end Eli's two-year run of luck with the NFC."
Eli added, "I love everything about the Pro Bowl Games. And getting to hear Peyton complain about losing every year makes it even better."
"Only the Pro Bowl Games bring together the greatest players in the NFL in one location, giving fans the chance to see both their competitiveness and their helmets-off personalities," said Peter O'Reilly, executive vice president, club business, international, and league events at the NFL. "We are thrilled the Mannings are returning as coaches to renew their rivalry. Peyton and Eli have been in the lab concocting some amazing new skills competitions that we'll reveal soon. And, we know Orlando will deliver an unforgettable live event for fans, players and their families that celebrates the best in the NFL."

In 2025, the Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon will continue the exciting evolution from a traditional tackle game to a flag football showdown on Sunday. Fans can also look forward to all-new skills competitions, as players showcase their football and non-football abilities.
For the AFC vs. NFC flag football game, the format will be 7-on-7. The game will take place on a 50-yard field with 10-yard end zones, with scoring plays worth the traditional six (6) points with a 1-point conversion from the 5-yard line, and a 2-point conversion option from the 10-yard line.
In addition to highlighting the NFL's top players, the Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon will spotlight youth and high school football participants and coaches through a variety of activations throughout the week. On Saturday, Feb. 1 the American Youth Football's top middle school football players will compete in an All-Star Game at Lake Howell High School to celebrate their contributions to teams across the country, and the inaugural NFL Girls Flag All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, Feb. 2, giving top players selected from USA Today's Top 25 rankings the chance to display their skills on a national platform, with the game airing on ESPN.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games presented by Verizon will again include an International NFL Flag Championship Tournament featuring top youth teams from around the world, underscoring the NFL's commitment to the global growth and accessibility of flag football ahead of the LA 2028 Olympic Games. The football format will officially be included in the LA 2028 Olympic Games program, led by efforts of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) and supported by the NFL.
