Martinez talks excitement surrounding Giants in 2021
Linebacker Blake Martinez joined NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" on Wednesday and spoke about everything from Saquon Barkley to his extensive Pokemon card collection. First and foremost, though, Martinez talked about the excitement level heading into the second year of the Joe Judge era.
"I think the vibe is extremely high, extremely happy, extremely excited," said Martinez, who was voted a team captain in his first season with the Giants in 2020. "The way he goes about his business, it's no BS, he's straight to the point, and he's going to teach you about everything. He's going to start from the ground up, whether it's stretching, individual, seven-on-seven, tackling drills, team periods. He's going to show you every component on how you started your practice to how you ended your practice, on why you made that play or why you didn't make that play. It showed me a lot of different things that I didn't think about."
