Andrew Thomas, Azeez Ojulari named NFLPA Community MVPs

Offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari were teammates for two seasons at the University of Georgia prior to being selected by the Giants in back-to-back drafts (Thomas in 2020, Ojulari in 2021).

The former Bulldogs recently teamed up again, this time off the field, in order to give back to the community.

Thomas and Ojulari recently hosted children and their families from the Boys & Girls Club of Newark and Secaucus Parks & Recreation for an advance screening of the movie "IF", which led to the two players being named NFLPA Community MVPs.

Over 100 local children attended the event as the two members of the Giants posed for photos with the kids and their families.

Thomas is entering his fifth season with the Giants. After being named second-team All-Pro in 2022, the starting left tackle was voted a team captain for the 2023 campaign. Despite missing some time with a hamstring injury last season, Thomas earned the 10th-highest pass blocking grade from Pro Football Focus after allowing four sacks on 376 pass block snaps.

Meanwhile, Ojulari is going into his fourth NFL season. The 24-year-old outside linebacker has registered 16.0 sacks, 27 quarterback hits and four forced fumbles in 35 games (25 starts) across his first three seasons.
