As a rookie in 2023, spent the season on injured reserve after tearing his ACL in a preseason game vs. the Jets (8/26).

COLLEGE:

OFF-THE-FIELD ACTIVITY:

Joined Project Kind, an organization to support those experiencing homelessness, to host an event with 125 people from the organization for a day of haircuts, spa treatments and lunch at MetLife stadium…The entire 2023 rookie class visited Harlem, where players were split into groups to visit 4 different schools and hosted a flag football clinic for 50 of the boys in the Harlem Giants program…To celebrate Halloween, dressed in costume to visit patients and distribute giftbags at Hackensack University Medical Center's Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital…Continued the annual rookie Thanksgiving tradition at the Community Kitchen located at the Food Bank for New York City in Harlem to hand out turkeys and meals for people in need Attended a CCNY basketball game with the boys in the Harlem Giants program and participated in games during halftime…Met with members from the Wounded Warriors Project during their visit to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center to watch practice and enjoy a day with the Giants.

PERSONAL

Three-year letterman as a wide receiver and defensive back at Holly Springs (N.C.) High School…Named team offensive MVP and earned all-conference honors as a senior despite missing 6 games due to a shoulder injury…Selected to the 2017 Shrine Bowl for Team North Carolina…Also lettered in track with personal bests in the 100 meters (11.34), 200 meters (24.00) and long jump (20 feet 0 inches)…Maternal grandfather (Garrett Ford Sr.) played running back at West Virginia (1964-67) and became the first player in school history to rush for 1,000 yards.
