The New York Giants made more roster moves on Wednesday, claiming guard Wyatt Davis off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals and waiving tight end Chris Myarick. Earlier in the day, the team signed linebacker Jarrad Davis, a former first-round draft choice, off the Detroit Lions' practice squad and placed guard Shane Lemieux (toe) on injured reserve.
Davis, 6-4 and 315 pounds, was originally a third-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2021. He appeared in six games as a rookie with the Vikings and one apiece with the Saints and Cardinals this season.
Davis was a two-time first-team All-American at Ohio State, earning unanimous honors in 2020. He was the first guard in Buckeyes history to win the Rimington-Pace Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year Award and played in 50 games over his career, making 24 starts.
