RE: Moving on from the Philadelphia gameA: Yeah, I think it has to be. I think we have to move forward, and understand that we've got the Cleveland Browns coming to town. We've got to prepare ourselves for them.
Q: Is it possible to overlook them?A: No. I don't think so. Not for us. We understand that this is a must-win for us. We have to get ready to play, prepare, and we've got to have all of our weapons handy, go in there, play a good game, and win.
Q: What have you seen from their corners on tape? What kinds of coverages do they run back there?A: They run some good coverages, a lot of man-to-man. A lot of single-high pressures and things like that. So, it's going to be a challenge for us, they don't press as much, but it's still going to be a challenge, nonetheless, as far as getting open and making some big plays.
Q: You talked to Ramses (Barden)? Is he all right?A: I haven't spoken to him yet. I saw him this morning, he seemed okay. I guess something happened, he went to go see the doctors, and I guess is being treated as we speak.
Q: To be fair, over the last several years it seems like the Giants tend to play down to lesser competition. You guys don't play your best games, your A-games, so to speak, against lesser teams, especially in this building. Any idea of why that is?A: I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I don't know if it's our preparation, I don't know if it's the mindset that we go in there with. Hopefully, we'll gear up this week and be prepared for this team, no matter what their record is. They're still a good football team, and we have to prepare ourselves to win a football game.
Q: Are you somebody who looks at the schedule when it comes out? The Giants have a very tough schedule this season. How aware is the team, or you, about that schedule?A: I just take it week-by-week. I can't look ahead and say, "Oh, we're playing this team," or things like that. We've got to take it one week at a time, and prepare for each and every team accordingly, and go out there, and play the games. No matter who we're playing, what their record is, we've still got to go out there and play those games.
RE: Injuries to the Giants' wide receiver position, and the extra attention he gets from opposing defenses:A: I guess I have no choice but to get used to it. It's definitely something that I've had to adjust to, getting used to different coverages, and different safeties being in my area and things like that. So, I'm excited about the new challenges, it's been fun and I've been able to get myself open and make some plays. It's been exciting, so far.
Q: Is this sort of a combination of a compliment and annoying? I mean, it's a compliment, but you have to deal with it.A: I've got to deal with it. Coach has done a good job moving me around, keeping me in that slot, keeping me outside, inside. Doing different things to keep the defense off-balance.
