WR Hakeem Nicks

**

Q: How did you come out of the game yesterday?**
A: I came out pretty good, a little sore afterwards as we expected. The main thing is I finished the game, played tough. We got some things to work on as a team, as an offense, but we will get those things turned around.

Q: Did you have pain during the game?A: I felt it at times in certain routes, but it wasn't nothing that held me from playing in the game or coming out the game. It was maintainable. It wasn't excruciating pain or it wasn't extremely bad, but I maintained it and fought through it and finished the game.

Q: Did you guys steer away from certain plays that would've aggravated it more?
A: No. I think we just called our offense accordingly. I was on the backside on a lot of formations as we normally do in our offense. They played a lot of cover two in that game with the safety over the top on the outside. It was just a matter of doing what I do on the offense and whenever I was called on to make the catch, I did.

Q: Did you expect the rookie corner to be on you?
A: We really didn't know how they were going to play coming into the game. A couple of times on third and nine, he was on me a couple of times. They were switching it up every now and then.

Q: Did you feel like you were yourself?
A: I feel like once I get in the swing of things, I could do a little more. Right now, it's been a short training camp for me. Limited myself on the field and not being able to practice as much as I want to, but it's a matter of maintaining and not prolonging this foot injury, so I'm all for that. I'm sure I'll be myself here in about another game or two, but it's just a matter of me playing and getting through it.
