Q: How are you doing?A: I had a full practice yesterday and I wanted to go out there and see how it feels during practice. It was O.K. It wasn't 100 percent and after practice it was just a little sore. This morning it was a little sore, so I stayed in and got a pool workout and did some cardio and things in the pool. Some range of motion things to improve and things of that nature, so I'm trying to make sure I'm ready for Sunday.
Q: Are you concerned about not being ready?A: We just have to take it day by day and I have to take it day by day and hope for the best. I'm going to continue to keep working on my knee all day. That's pretty much all I do all day is just work it out and ice it down and stem it and things of that nature, try to get it right for Sunday and right now that's my only concern. Make sure I get all the mental preparation I need, watching as much film as I can, making sure I'm in my playbook.
Q: Is it a bone bruise?A: I have no idea. I took a MRI yesterday and everything came back okay. It's just that area where I made direct contact with the camera.
Q: Is it tough not being out there practicing?A: Since I've been here, I've never missed an in-season practice and that's… It may seem weird to a lot of people but that's kind of hard for me to kind of deal with. I'm a guy that likes to be out there with my team each and every day no matter what it is I'm doing, so for me to miss that because of this injury, it's kind of disappointing but at the same time, I think and we think it's what's best and we're trying to take all the precautionary reasons so I can be able to go come Sunday.
Q: Talk about how important this division game is.A: It's everything and you can't succeed in being division champs without beating your division opponents. Obviously, they're very worthy opponents. They always play us extremely tough, so it's going to be a very crucial game come Sunday night.
Q: Can you talk about what you think of the officials coming back?A: I think it's well within the rights. I think it's time we have our officials back, time that everyone in the NFL nation getting on the same page at the same time and hopefully it limits all the argument and debates and frustrations as far as the ref callings and things of that nature.
Q: How does the knee feel?A: Nicks and bruises and things of that nature. It really doesn't bother me too much, but you can't play without your knees, so that's a little bit more serious and I'm just trying to make sure I'm able to… If I can give 90 percent or 85 percent on Sunday, I think that will be good enough for me playing the safety position and I'm just trying to get as healthy as I can before that time.
