Q: Where are we at with (wide receiver) Malik (Nabers) at this point?
BRIAN DABOLL: He'll be doing stuff out on the field. More like he was doing the last two days. He won't make it.
Q: How does he progress? He comes in in the morning. Does he actually get tested or is it strictly based on him telling the doctors how he feels?
BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, well, there's a communication between him and the training staff, and then he'll do activity, and then there's communication after that. And we're still, obviously, we're making progress but again, that's never anything you want to rush.
Q: But is he having symptoms still? Like why is he not going to the next step?
BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, I'll leave that in-house. But making progress, he'll do some more than he did yesterday, similar to probably the day before. Take it day by day.
Q: Was he knocked unconscious on that hit?
BRIAN DABOLL: Yeah, it was a pretty big hit. I'm not going to get into what it was, but it was certainly a big hit.
Q: Did you have any issue with him going to the concert the other night?
BRIAN DABOLL: I'll keep that all in-house.
Q: Was that a violation of any protocol on his end?
BRIAN DABOLL: Nope.
Q: How are the other guys doing?
BRIAN DABOLL: Which guys?
Q: (Cornerback) Dru (Phillips), (cornerback) Adoree' (Jackson).
BRIAN DABOLL: Both of those guys are doing good.
Q: (Wide receiver) Bryce Ford-Wheaton?
BRIAN DABOLL: He'll practice today. We'll see where he's at today after practice. I'd say the same thing with (running back Devin Singletary) Motor. I'd say Dru and Adoree' are ahead of those guys after full practices here. Both with Motor and Bryce Ford, we'll see where those guys are at after today.
Q: Malik seemed to be trending in the right direction. Was there something that happened? Obviously, people are going to look at it and say the concert was that night. Was there a setback from that point?
BRIAN DABOLL: I'd just say he's got a pretty good concussion, so I'm not going to get into concussion protocol or anything like that. It's a serious thing.
Q: How about (guard Jon) Runyan (Jr.)?
BRIAN DABOLL: He'll be back out. He's feeling better today.
Q: Any decision on (outside linebacker) Kayvon (Thibodeaux)? Will he go on IR?
BRIAN DABOLL: No decision yet. There's a possibility. Got to see where we're at here after practice.
Q: What's the likelihood that he'll be able to at some point put a cast on and play with a cast?
BRIAN DABOLL: Again, I'm taking it day by day here or week to week, like I said. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
