COACH TOM COUGHLIN
On the game"Well, we're happy to win, no doubt. It was a struggle from the get go. We certainly did have our opportunities… we did get the turnovers. I think we had six to their two, but we didn't take advantage of them the way we should have. The touchdowns certainly would have made a big difference. I kept calculating in the first half if those field goals were touchdowns. All that momentum changed in the second quarter. That's the game. That's the way it is in this division. Every time we come here it's a nail biter in some way, shape or form. You can't always describe it. I'm sure there's an awful lot we are going to learn from this. We didn't play very good in the secondary, our coverage was loose to say the least and that's going to have to tighten up. We didn't do a very good job of winning with our pass game so I'm sure there aren't many numbers. But we are happy to win and be on our way home."
On Dez Bryant's catch"It was reported down to me right away that that is what happened, that the hand was out of bounds. It was just a matter of the official having the necessary time to make that call. But I must say it's been a long time since I've seen three plays in 10 seconds. That was an incredible thing that happened there. We thought it was over."
On winning"Well we had good leadership. We come in at the half and talk about being positive and changing the momentum… We're fighters and we've been through a lot of big games. Sometimes it comes out a little bit different than we would like to have it designed, when talking about the way in which the game is played. We're very pleased to leave here 6-2 and 2-2 in the division."
QB ELI MANNINGMANNING: "I knew we would have to keep scoring. Their offense is talented and very capable of scoring. We didn't quite take advantage of some opportunities we had in the first half. We kept settling for field goals, not scoring enough touchdowns. But I knew it would take us playing well and playing better throughout the second half. The third quarter we didn't do much. The fourth quarter we got down but had a couple of good drives. We had to settle for field goals, which you hate doing, but at least we were getting points. We took back the lead and then made it where Dallas would have to score a touchdown to take the lead again. The defense did a great job of making some stops. We've got to find ways to be better on third down and be better near the red zone."
On the Dez Bryant play: "I couldn't quite believe it, couldn't quite believe they could get a touchdown in that situation. I kept looking for the replay to see if he caught the ball. They never showed a replay so I was thinking it might be a good sign…I heard a few rumors on the sideline that he had a hand out…I was hoping it was true and got the reversal. They still ran three plays in ten seconds. You knew the game would not be over until the clock said zero."
On close games: "We've been pretty good at winning these close games. Early on, we lost one to Philly. We have to win the close ones. That's what it's about. Every team you play is going to be talented and is going to be good. You've got to find ways to get off to fast starts, which we did which was great, but we have to find ways to finish games and finish strong. They had a lot of momentum going. But we had a couple of good drives in the fourth quarter to take back the lead and give our defense a touchdown lead that they could go out and get some stops. And they did."
READ MORE >> WR VICTOR CRUZOn his interception play: "I didn't even know I touched him to be honest. I got hit pretty hard. I was just praying it wasn't an interception. As soon as I saw him get up and run, I just kind of stuck my foot out I guess and tried to get a hand on him. I guess they declared him down."
On being 6-2 "It was huge for us to get 6-2 and keep going on this win streak that we've got going. More importantly, we're 2-2 in division and keep our momentum going forward. It was a tough game here today. Not by any means are we taking anything away from the Cowboys, because they are a good team. We fought tooth and nail here like we always do. It's good to come out victorious."
On close games: "It speaks about our resiliency. We understand how to play these games. We've been in a bunch of them. We understand that it's never over until it's over. We've just got to keep plugging away, keep trying to get first downs and keep staying focused on what we're doing…"K LAWRENCE TYNESOn pressure: "You've just got to go out there and do your job. Those points were obviously big and we knew it. However we can win, we don't care."
On momentum: "We were moving the ball. Their defense was stout…Dallas is a good team. We just found a way to win. If it's field goals, it's field goals. We really don't care how we win. We're 6 and 2 and we're happy about it." On big kicks: "They were both big kicks. We knew it when we went out there. We executed. We did a good job on the snap and hold and protection. That's why we are here. We're here to play in these big games and make big kicks. I feel like we helped our team today**
DT CHRIS CANTY

On the game: "We scratched and scraped. At the end we still had to have a little bit of luck to e:pull that one out. I'm thankful the call and the ball bounced our way and we were able to get out of here with a win."
On the defense: "Obviously we know that going into this game that takeaways are at a premium. The more opportunities we can give our offense to have with the football the better off we are going to be. They kept putting points on the board, we kept trying to take the ball away and give it back [to our offense] so they can keep doing that. The Cowboys had some momentum going into the half and in the third quarter. But we were able to fight back and make enough plays to win."
On pressure on Romo: "These are situations that we always talk about. In the fourth quarter, especially when the game is in that kind of situation, we know as a defensive line we have got to put pressure on the quarterback. We have to get him down. That's when sacks are the most important. We have to make sure we hit the quarterback and make it easier on our secondary."**
DE OSI UMENYIORA

On the win: "It was a win. It shouldn't have been as close as it was. We let them come back in the game and we shouldn't have. But at the end of the game, we win the game and that's pretty much all I can say."
On the roller-coaster of emotion on the overturned Dez Bryant touchdown: "It was bad. It was really bad. After going up 23 to nothing and having them come back like that and win, it was a very bad feeling. But thankfully it wasn't in bounds."
On the way the game ended, and whether luck was involved: "There's no luck. That's football. He didn't make the play. Sometimes people make plays and sometimes they don't. At the end of the day, I don't think that's luck. He just didn't make the play.SAFETY STEVIE BROWN
On being tested deep: "We knew they were going to try to test us deep, because they hit us a lot on the short game. We kind of figured either they were going to come back on the short game again, or they were going to try to test us deep. So we were prepared for both."
On being 6-2 in a competitive division: "It's a win. It is an NFL win. It is a win in the division. It is a win in the conference. We're happy. We are going to celebrate. But we have to get back at it next week."
On the TD and replay: "When I saw it live on the field, it looked like he came down out of bounds. I was thinking, I was glad it was going to be able to be challenged, because I didn't think he caught it in bounds."**
DE JASON PIERRE-PAUL

On the Cowboys loss: "Every division game is going to be a tough one. That last pass, we thought it was over. Everybody thought it was over. Dez was celebrating. All we could tell was that the referee was going to the review booth to see what it was. When they called it not a touchdown, it gave us another shot to go out there and play hardball. Just get at the quarterback one last time.
On the interception and his first career touchdown: "I was supposed to rush on that play. I was kind of patient on my rush. It looked like he was going to throw it that way. So I just jumped up and caught the ball, and ran it for at touchdown.
On the mindset while the Giants lead was disappearing: "We had been in that situation before. Coach Coughlin always preaches to fight fight fight, finish finish finish. One thing about us, we will never give up. No matter what the score is. It can be 6-28, or 28-6. We never give up. We just kept on fighting. That's what the Giants do."
