Postgame DE/LB Mathias Kiwanuka*On the play of the defense in the 2nd half:

*Obviously we would have liked to have that coming out in the beginning of the game. It was a good finish but we just have to start faster next time. It was just desire. Everybody wanted to win. We had a feeling this was a team that we could come out here and get a win against Miami but feeling doesn't mean that you are going to do it. If we were going to come out victorious, we had to do it. We had to do it on defense because we had messed it up in the beginning of the game.

Postgame DE Justin Tuck*On the game:

*The offense did a great job of fighting all game and at the end we got the lead there and it allowed us to put them in some situations that they didn't want to be in. All game we didn't stop the run as well as we wanted to but once we got that lead in the fourth quarter it allowed us to do what we do best and that is get after the passer. It allowed us to get on the edges rushing and we got some big sacks and penetration. Corey ended it with a pick. That is how we like to win games on the defensive end, but you have to give all 53 guys credit. It was a team victory for us.

Postgame DE Osi Umenyiora*On closing out the game:

*That is what good teams do. When it's time to close out a team you have to close them out. They gave us everything we could handle. They fought like we knew they would but we prevailed at the end.

We knew if we got them in a passing situation that they were going to be in trouble. Our offense came through and we got them in that situation.

We just have to keep on fighting. We have all the talent in the world.

Postgame Punter Steve Weatherford*On punting to Reggie Bush at end of game:

*I know how explosive and dangerous Reggie (Bush) is because I played with him for three years in New Orleans. I knew controlling him would be a big contest for me because he is so electric.  I can't take any of the credit. I punted the ball a long way but those guys did a great job of covering downfield. I just did what they brought me here to do and the guys covered great.  If you punt the ball 60 yards and they cover like that at the end of the game that's incredible. I thought Tryon and the rest of the guys did a great job of getting down there and making a huge play for the team.

Postgame WR Mario Manningham*On the touchdown right before the half:

*The safeties blitzed and I was working my release and Eli put the ball in a perfect spot. We came together. We started off slow but we came together.

Postgame WR Victor Cruz*On the touchdown:

*It was a seam route and they were in cover 2 so my route is to break it towards the middle. Eli put it on me and I went up field, was able to make a guy miss. I spun around and was able to get in the end zone.

*On Eli Manning:

*He lit it up. He was accurate and in the zone and we were getting open for him. That is the stuff that we practice all week. Especially that two minute drill before the half. That is the stuff we practice and try to stay on top of and we did a good job of that today.

It's good to know that Eli trusts you and trusts that you are going to be at the right place at the right time. That is what I try to do. I try to do that every time I'm out there and every time I'm running a route. If I'm open, then hopefully he can hit me, and I know if I'm not open, then somebody else is open. He is going to hit one of our receivers.
