Q: Do you feel more comfortable in this defense?
A: Very comfortable. That's what comes with the territory. The longer you spend in a system, the more acclimated to it you are.
Q: You've been around a lot of big plays this season. Is it luck? is it circumstance? Are you seeing things better?
A: Seeing the field better is one.
Q: Why?
A: More comfortable in the defense, being able to eliminate all of the thinking. Once we just line up and can play without the thinking it's great.
Q: Do you feel like you've taken more of a leadership role?
A: Yeah, you can say that, especially in my room, the linebacker room. I'm the old guy now. We have four rookies in our room so I try to take on that leadership role and communicate with them and help them as much as possible.
Q: Do you feel like you've taken control of the huddle?
A: Yeah. I tell Jones and the other guys in our room, the linebackers, we run the show. It starts with us. We give the huddle call. We get guys lined up and that's where it starts. For us, as a group, we kind of take on that leadership role and get it rolling from there.
