Q: How are you doing?
A: Doing good. Rehabbing and trying to get my leg better.
Q: How's it coming?
A: Good. To be 10 or 11 days out from where I was a week ago I feel really good. I'm encouraged by it.
Q: Ready for New England?
A: I don't know. I haven't planned on that. I haven't even kicked a ball yet. Today's Thursday, probably won't kick tomorrow. We'll see where I am through the weekend.
Q: Is there a timetable to kick a football?
A: We haven't talked about it yet, but I'm sure there will be after the progress I've made today. We'll discuss that probably tomorrow morning.
Q: What did you do today?
A: Kicked a soccer ball… That was exciting…. We actually keep that in our kicking bag to warm up with sometimes. That felt okay.
Q: Did you get any answers on why there was no flag on the play you got hurt?
A: It's not a penalty.
Q: Not upset about it anymore?
A: I was more upset that I got hit. Obviously you can understand the circumstances. It's not a penalty so no sense in talking about it.
Q: Did you think it would be this long when you first got injured?
A: I'm way ahead of where I'm supposed to be right now. I'm actually doing a lot better than I thought I would be.
Q: You said you were going to wear a special pad?
A: I was just messing around. I don't wear leg pads when I kick. I certainly don't want to take another blow there.
Q: Would it be on your mind at all?
A: No. I don't know what the percentages are of that happening again, but I don't think statistically it would be something that's going to happen very often.
