Q: How are you feeling?
A: I feel better.
Q: Good enough to play on Sunday?
A: That's my goal. Even when I was hurting pretty good on Monday… I don't want to miss a
game of this… This means a lot. So we need all hands on deck and I was able to go out there and
work a little bit today, so I'm feeling good about Sunday.
Q: Do you feel like it's an all hands on deck thing?
A: It's pretty obvious with the situation we put ourselves in. We need to win the last two. It's not
a situation we haven't been in before.
Q: If it were earlier in the season, would you maybe take this game off?
A: I never want to do that. I've only missed five in my career and that was circumstances I
couldn't really control. This time of year, everyone plays through pain. I'm not saying I'm dealing
with any more than what other guys are dealing with. I'm upright and I was moving around, so
I'll be good to go.
Q: Talk a little bit about the impact Ahmad's return might bring to the team if he is back?
A: We'd love to have him out there. I don't know what the official word is yet, but it's a good
sign that he was out there today. His passion for the game rubs off on everyone. He's got
tremendous energy and just his physical play inspires people. So I sure hope that he makes the
trip down with us and we're running out of the tunnel together because his energy is infectious.
Q: Sprained knees usually take a couple of weeks. Bradshaw just missed one week.
A: We talk about it all the time how tough he is and it's just another example as to how tough
that man actually is and what he plays through. When you love something as much as he does….
He loves this game. It's an empty feeling… I missed two practices this week, but it's such an
empty feeling when you're not out there with your teammates, guys that you worked so hard
with through the offseason and summer and through 14 weeks. You feel like you're letting them
down. So any chance that you can play, you need to be out there.
Q: Tom said he wants to know how you feel tomorrow.
A: Yeah. I hadn't done much all week. It was more letting things quiet down and I felt okay out
there today and hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get out of bed without feeling sore, but I
think I'll be okay.
Q: Is it something that you might have surgery after the season?
A: Every year there is that discussion. There are always body parts that you need to sit down
with the trainers and talk about what you want to do with it. Hopefully, we don't discuss that for
a month and a half or two months.
