The New York Giants today waived cornerback Ryan Lewis.
Lewis was signed to the practice squad right before the start of the 2020 season. His first game with the team came in Week 3 against the San Francisco 49ers. Lewis would go on to play five games with three starts for the Giants before being placed on injured reserve on November 6.
In five games, Lewis registered 13 tackles (11 solo) with one pass breakup.
The defensive backs currently on the Giants' roster include James Bradberry, Adoree' Jackson, Logan Ryan, Jabrill Peppers, Xavier McKinney, Darnay Holmes, Julian Love, Isaac Yiadom, Joshua Kalu, Chris Milton, Madre Harper, Montre Hartage, Sam Beal, Jarren Williams and Quincy Wilson.
