East Rutherford, N.J. – The Giants today announced plans for their 100th season Celebration Weekend, September 6-8, 2024.
On Friday night, September 6, the Giants will host a Fan Fest, presented by Wendy's, at MetLife Stadium. There will be autograph opportunities with Giants Legends, panels discussions on team history, on-field celebration and appearances by the Top 100 Giants, plaza activations and a fireworks show. The first 10,000 fans will receive a commemorative 100th season flag.
The event is free and open to the public, with Giants Season Ticket Members having an exclusive opportunity to obtain tickets in early August before the general public.
On Saturday, September 7, The Giants Foundation will host a 5K race and kids run, presented by Quest®, at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. respectively at MetLife Stadium. Net proceeds from the event will benefit The Giants Foundation, Inc. The 5K race will begin in the MetLife Sports Complex, continue around the Quest Diagnostics Training Center, and finish in the Giants end zone inside of MetLife Stadium. Participants will enjoy running alongside select Giants Legends, team representatives and fellow Giants Fans, all while supporting The Giants Foundation.
All participants will receive a commemorative Giants 5K performance t-shirt and age group winners will receive custom Giants game balls.
After the race, runners will enjoy the post-race festival with appearances by Giants Legends and a live DJ. There will also be plenty of activities for families including inflatable rides, games, face painting, performances by the Giants Drumline and much more.
Early-bird registration is now open and can be purchased here.
The Celebration Weekend will culminate with the Giants home opener, presented by Bud Light, to kick off the Giants 100th season on Sunday, September 8 at 1:00pm when the Giants host the Minnesota Vikings at MetLife Stadium. All fans in attendance will receive a 100th season commemorative coin, courtesy of Bud Light. A ceremony will take place on the field to acknowledge the Top 100 Giants of all-time.
The team will be wearing their 100th season "Century Red" uniform at the home opener. The uniform harkens back to the earliest days of the franchise and features tan pants; red socks with blue and white stripes from the team's inaugural 1925 season; red jerseys accented with blue from 1933, when the Giants played in the first ever NFL Championship Game; and an iconic winged helmet honoring the 1938 champions as the Giants became a cornerstone in the foundation of the league. All of the team's 2024 jerseys will feature the team's "100 Seasons" patch.
Limited single game tickets to the Giants home opener can be purchased here and a full gameday theme schedule will be announced later this summer.
