East Rutherford, N.J. – The New York Football Giants launched their 100th season celebration with the unveiling of their 100 seasons logo, along with a full slate of activations to honor this historic milestone.
The commemorative logo was created to showcase the franchise's rich history with the background shield inspired by the shape of the Polo Grounds, the team's first home in 1925 – and with the zeros designed in the outline of Giants Stadium. At the base is a re-creation of the team's classic skyline logo, representing every player who has worn the Giants uniform. The player is overlaid on a football, which is named "The Duke" in honor of Wellington Mara and features eight laces to symbolize the team's eight NFL championships.
The logo will be worn as a patch on Giants uniforms this season and will appear throughout the market on co-branded partner products, including exclusive merchandise drops from Starter, Oakley and Hugo Boss. In addition, partner activations highlighting team history are planned for Yankee Stadium, The MetLife Building at 200 Park Ave. in Manhattan and inside United's Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport.
"The entire Mara family is proud to commemorate the 100th season of New York Giants football," said John Mara, President and CEO of the Giants. "As we reflect on this landmark season, I think about my family, and most specifically my father, grandfather and uncle who dedicated their entire lives to the Giants and the NFL. We would not be who we are without their vision and leadership. When we became partners with the Tisch family in 1991, our franchise grew even stronger. Together, the Mara and Tisch families are proud to celebrate the history of our franchise as we look to the future of Giants football."
"I first saw the Giants play in person in the early 1960s when my father would take me to games at Yankee Stadium," said Steve Tisch, Giants executive vice president and chairman. "Going to Giants games was a wonderfully magical ritual. It inspired my lifelong love of the Giants. When my father became an equal partner of the Giants in 1991, it was the realization of a longtime dream. Our family has relished our association with the Giants and look forward to many years of success in the future."
On June 20, the team will host Giants 100: A Night with Legends presented by Verizon at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The night will feature panel discussions covering team history, a preview of the 2024 season with current players and staff, artifacts from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and 100th season merchandise. Over 20 legends are expected to participate, including Eli Manning, Harry Carson, Tiki Barber, George Martin, Jason Sehorn, Bill Parcells and Tom Coughlin. Starting Tuesday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. ET, Giants season ticket members will have an exclusive 48-hour window to purchase tickets before a limited supply will be made available to the general public on Thursday, May 16 at 10 a.m. ET on Ticketmaster. Net ticket proceeds from the event will benefit The Giants Foundation, Inc. ("TGF").
"Our planning for the 100th season started close to two years ago and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with our fans, alumni and partners. This season will be a time to reflect on the players, moments and championship teams that have defined the first 100 seasons of Giants football. We will celebrate through featured content, events and special activations all season long," said Nilay Shah, Giants Senior Vice President, Marketing & Brand Strategy.
The Giants' "Top 100 Players" presented by Bud Light will be revealed on team digital and social media channels throughout the summer, starting in July. The ranking was compiled by an independent committee of NFL historians, media members and fan contributors. A 10-part podcast series hosted by Bob Papa and featuring Giants legends will explore the impact the players have had on the organization.
The Giants Foundation will continue its commitment to making a positive impact in the tri-state area by pledging one million dollars in donations through ten $100,000 grants. These grants will be awarded to long-time charitable partners of TGF to reinforce the Giants' commitment to their cause. Each recipient organization will be highlighted at a Giants home game this season. Additionally, the Giants will make a minimum of 100 in-person community visits in 2024.
On August 1, to honor the franchise's official date of founding on August 1, 1925, the Giants will visit the historic site where their first home, the Polo Grounds, once stood and host a community event for the residents of the Polo Grounds Towers in Washington Heights, NY.
"Since 1925, the Giants have always been dedicated to the community. We have had the honor and privilege to work with countless charitable organizations, such as military groups, the underserved and children suffering life-threatening diseases, just to name a few," said Allison Stangeby, Vice President of Community and Corporate Relations for the Giants. "Our commitment to our community is never ending, and we are proud that our history reflects not only great football but a great commitment to our community."
Throughout August, a 100th season branded caravan presented by Hackensack Meridian Health will make surprise visits in the community with Giants alumni and the G-Line.
Additional 100th season activations include:

Prior to the game, Manning will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Throughout the game, historic Giants highlights will be played on the Yankee Stadium video board, and fans will have the opportunity to take pictures with a Giants' Super Bowl trophy.
100th Season Book
An official 100th season book, New York Football Giants: The People, The Moments, The Traditions, will be available exclusively at the Giants online shop in September. "The Duke" Documentary
This fall, NFL Network will premiere "The Duke" – a documentary look at the life of Wellington Mara and how the Giants' patriarch helped transform the National Football League from a 1930's afterthought into America's Game. Mara was present for the Giants first game in 1925, became the team's co-owner at age 14 and led the franchise for many years with his brother Jack until Wellington's passing in 2005. The NFL Films produced documentary will show how so much of what makes today's game larger than life – The Draft, Player Evaluation, In-Game Coaching Adjustments, the Wilson Football, Televised Games, Players Wired for Sound – would never have happened without the man his players called "The Duke."
The Giants are grateful for the unwavering support throughout their history from the fans, the community and their corporate partners. For more information on the Giants 100th season, please visit Giants.com/100.
