DE Osi Umenyiora - 11/30

Q: Does Monday Night Football ever get old for you?
A: Yeah, actually. I'd much rather be playing on Sunday at one o'clock.

Q: Isn't there something special about playing in front of everyone?
A: No question. Definitely, but we definitely prefer the Sunday one o'clock games. Those are the best.

Q: You guys haven't had much of those this year.
A: No. Not a lot, but I guess that's a good thing. People want to see us and that's always a good thing.

Q: What did you learn from the last time you played RG3 that's going to help you this game?A: We already knew going in what type of talent he was, what type of quarterback he was, but he just demonstrated that further for us and he proved it in real time the type of athlete and more importantly the type of quarterback that he is. He's an outstanding quarterback, first, and so we've got our work cut out for us. He did a lot of good things against us and hopefully we'll be able to rectify that when we play them on Monday.

Q: How much more important is the discipline to stay in your spot when you face a quarterback like RG3?
A: Very important, especially with a guy like him. When he breaks the pocket, it's not like he's just looking to run the football all the time. He's making big plays down the field with his arm, so we definitely have to try and keep him in front of us, but that's easier said than done.

Q: Is that 4th and 10 conversion that he had the best example of that?
A: Yeah, definitely. He got outside and he made JPP miss, he made me miss and he completed a ball that kept them in the game. A lot of us thought he wasn't going to be able to make that play and he was able to do that. So all the respect and credit in the world goes to that guy. He's a phenomenal football player.

Q: Were you pleased with last week's effort versus the Packers?
A: I was happy. We could have played better, for sure, in a lot of areas, but I think we came out and we established ourselves and played well in all phases of the team, whether it's offense, defense or special teams. We played like a team and I think that was the most important thing and that was the most gratifying thing coming from that game.

Q: What can you make an offense do by playing three safeties?
A: Well, a lot of flexibility for our defense. Obviously you have guys who can come down and hit you in the mouth and they can also cover and you have those guys playing back there. There's really no telling what we're going to do, whether we're playing eight in the box or whether we're playing seven in the box, so you don't know what we're doing when we have those guys back there. So any time Kenny plays and Rolle and Brown and Will Hill and Hosley and all those guys, we have some very good players back there.
