DE Justin Tuck - 11/26

**

Tuck:** Just making sure we do the same thing we did last week, just being consistent and bringing the energy and the passion to the field during practice, walkthroughs, whatever it may be, meetings and I think winning just like losing is kind of contagious, that winning feeling and hopefully that's a contagious feeling for us and we've had a lot of success late in the season the past few years and hopefully we can continue that.

Q: Did you happen to watch RG3 against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving?A: I think I did.

Q: What did you learn about him that you didn't know?A: Nothing. I was hoping to learn that he would slow down a little bit, but that's not the case. He is one of the best dual threats in our game today and we're going to have our hands full trying to stop that guy.

Q: What impressed you most about the first meeting with him?A: I think his poise for a rookie quarterback. He just seems to always be in the moment and never rattled and never too high with the highs. It just seems like he's always focused on the play at hand. I haven't seen him kind of flustered or anything like that. You always see him kind of poised and ready for the moment and that says a lot about his maturity to be thrust upon this league and have all the weight of a franchise on you. It shows a lot about how mature he is.

Q: You're going to have to battle him for the next decade.A: I don't plan on being here for that long, but yeah. Until I exit stage right, it seems like he's going to be a fixture in my dreams and nightmares.

Q: Can you explain how this team is able to beat some of the best teams in the NFL in every phase of the game and then some weeks just not?A: No, I can't. I would challenge anybody to figure that out because I would love to know the answer to it, but it is what it is. Football is football. The NFL is a league that's full of parity and even teams that haven't had the success in the win-loss column, there's still pretty good athletes on that team and sometimes it just happens that way.
Q: What does it mean to have an effort like last night at this point in the season?A: This is when you need to be playing your best ball heading into the cold weather and the playoff atmospheres that we're about to embark on. This is when you want to be playing your best, so that's very important. A lot of times we see teams start hot and end on a cold note. We've been more of the variety of start hot, get cold and then heat up again. So hopefully we can end this season playing our best ball and heading into the playoffs playing our best ball. That's where you want to be.

Q: Is it a good feeling knowing that this front four can play at the level it did last year when you won the Super Bowl?A: Sure. We don't really get down on ourselves just because of a few bad games and we've had our share of bad games this year, but we all know what we're capable of doing once we tie it all together and I think last night was a showcase of that.
