Tight end Daniel Bellinger has passed his physical just in time for the Giants' first practice of training camp on Wednesday at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center.
The rookie fourth-round draft choice spent less than a week on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list with a quad injury.
On Tuesday, the Giants announced that four players rehabilitating injuries will not be on the field for the start of camp. Three players were placed on the PUP list: wide receiver Sterling Shepard (Achilles tendon), center Nick Gates (leg) and tackle Matt Peart (knee). In addition, linebacker Azeez Ojulari was put on the reserve/non-football injury (NFI) list with a hamstring injury.
All four players remain part of the 90-man roster and can be activated at any time.
