The New York Giants will have their entire 2022 draft class under contract when rookies officially report for training camp on Tuesday.
Safety Dane Belton, a fourth round selection from the University of Iowa, today became the 11th and final member to sign his first NFL deal. Earlier in the day, wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, the second round selection from the University of Kentucky, did the same.
In three seasons at Iowa, Belton played in 30 games with 26 starts, recording 112 tackles (68 solo), 6.5 tackles for loss, 17 passes defensed and five interceptions, all in 2021 when he started all 14 games and was selected first-team All-Big Ten. His five interceptions tied for the second-highest total in the nation.
Veterans report to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center on Tuesday, July 26, one day before the first practice of training camp.
