Q: How's the ankle feel? You're out of the boot?**
A: Yeah, I'm out of the walking boot. I've been rehabbing, walking better, and it feels a lot better than it did last week. It's only been six days, so we're still taking it day-by-day.
Q: Is there still swelling?
A: Not a lot of swelling, but the trainers told me to not let that steer me the wrong way or confuse me because it's still painful, and like I said, it's still progressing.
Q: We heard it was based a lot on pain tolerance?
A: Exactly.
Q: Is it still very painful?
A: I haven't been able to run, but walking is good, and getting on my toes is good, and I couldn't even do that three days ago so I'm glad that I'm progressing.
Q: Do you know where you stand right now in terms of your injury?
A: The doctor was impressed with how quick I've been improving. He said that it's still a day-by-day thing, and I need to start running and practicing first, and I haven't done that yet, so after I get the ok from the trainers we'll go from there.
Q: Are you hoping to get the okay before the Dallas game?
A: For sure. I hope that they make the best decision for me and the team.
Q: Thoughts on the extended break after the Cowboys game:
A: I'm thinking Week 2 is more promising, but I want Week 1 to be promising as well. They haven't told me yes, they haven't told me no.
