Q: Are you definitely playing?
Definitely.
Q: What would you think about that matchup if you had to cover Vernon Davis?
There are a lot of players in the league bigger than me. That's not really my concern. I respect their team and their personnel, but at the end of the day, I've got to go out there and do what I have to do for my team. I'm confident in myself and my teammates. We work as a team and we've got ways of handling that.
Q: Are you used to going against guys bigger than you?
Definitely. Throughout college… Now it's the NFL, it's a different level, of course, but I'm here for a reason.
Q: Have you defended many tight ends this year?
Not many. Been a couple of games I can probably name on one hand, but not many players.
Q: How difficult is that for you to recognize when the run is coming and when you have to stay in pass coverage?
It's just a matter of reading your keys, reading what's in front of you with the O-Line and just knowing what's run block, what's pass block. It's as simple as that and read your receivers well because they can give it away as well.
Q: A lot of the guys were saying that they disguise stuff really well.
Yeah, they do a lot of moving around. You just have to be disciplined and do your assignment.
Q: Are you looking forward to getting back out there?
Definitely. I'd lie if I said I wasn't. It's been a long two weeks and road to get healthy and trying to get back out there and help my team and right now, I'm focused. I'm focused and hungry. I'm still hungry. I'm hungry and humble. I'm ready to get out there and do what I have to do.
Q: How does the hamstring feel?
It's good. It's been good. No problems. I'm feeling good and I'm ready.
