What do you think lies ahead in free agency?
I don't know, to tell you the truth. It is the NFL. It is a business. I don't know what is going to happen or all the details yet, so it is just a wait and see thing right now.
Would you like to be back here next year?
I would love to be back a New York Giant. This is what I consider home. I have been here for five years. It is a great organization. We are a Super Bowl caliber team every year so it would be great to come back, but it is a business.
Would you expect a team to offer you some big money and an opportunity to be a number one back?
Yeah, I would expect that because I feel that I am a starter. I think I proved to everybody that I am a legit starter and I could get the job done. Who knows though? The Giants could offer me big money. It doesn't matter. Right now I am just trying to get this season out of my mind and in the next week or two get back to working out and the grind of football.
Should the Giants have run the football more yesterday?
As a running back, you always think your team needs to run the ball more, but our offensive coordinator does the game plan and he makes it so that we can succeed. We didn't succeed on the field yesterday. It didn't come down to should we run the ball more or whatever like that, it just comes down to execution and we weren't able to execute yesterday.
Is there an empty feeling today?
Yeah, there is. We expected to go back to the Super Bowl and win it and to come up short it is heartbreaking, but you live and you learn. We know what we have to do to get to the point where we are at now. Now it is all about finishing.
How much will you miss the camaraderie of Brandon and Ahmad if you are playing in different places next year?
I will miss it a lot. Those are like my brothers. To be on a different team from them would hurt, but like I said, it is a business thing and that is what happens in the NFL.
