Time's up. Pencils down. Pass your final mock drafts to the left because they're definitely not right.
The 2024 NFL Draft begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET. The Giants rang in the new league year by obtaining two-time Pro Bowl outside linebacker Brian Burns in a trade with the Panthers, sending them a 2024 second-round draft choice (No. 39) and a 2025 fifth-round selection and agreeing to a swap of fifth rounders this year (the Giants getting No. 166 and sending No. 141 to Carolina).
Because of that deal and others across the league, the draft order had to be adjusted accordingly. The Giants now hold six picks heading into the 89th annual NFL player selection meeting, which is scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit.
Below is the Giants' full 2024 NFL Draft order:
- Round 1 – No. 6
- Round 2 – No. 47 (from SEA)
- Round 3 – No. 70
- Round 4 – No. 107
- Round 5 – No. 166 (from SF through CAR)
- Round 6 – No. 183
Now here's a look at the final projections as they come in:
View Daniel Jeremiah best remaining prospects from his original top 150 ranking in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "In this scenario, I think the Giants' selection would come down to Nabers versus Rome Odunze. To me, that's a flip-a-coin decision. Taking Nabers here, New York opts to get more dynamic and explosive. I expect the G-Men to try to make a move up the board for Drake Maye, but I don't think they will be able to pull it off."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "He can run any route, creating separation on even the best cornerbacks. This is how the Giants could instantly turn around their offense."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "New York will look long and hard at J.J. McCarthy and Joe Alt. And though there's been some Odunze talk with this pick, I'll follow the herd and say Nabers."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "You could make an easy case for either Odunze or Malik Nabers here, but which prospect will the Giants prefer? Odunze is the most well-rounded receiver in this class. He has size, speed, route-running prowess, ball skills and yards-after-catch ability."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "[If] a QB isn't in the cards in Round 1, they could take arguably the most explosive playmaking receiver in the draft in Nabers.
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "It's no secret the Giants have done their homework on the quarterback class, but I don't believe it's a shoo-in that they would take one here -- even if Michigan's J.J. McCarthy is still available. New York hasn't had a 1,000-yard receiver since Odell Beckham Jr. in 2018 (1,052), and it still doesn't have a legitimate No. 1 wideout. The gap between Harrison and Nabers isn't as big as you might think, and Daniel Jones and this Giants offense would love Nabers' explosive traits."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers' fantastic burst would open up the Giants' offense and allow Daniel Jones to get the ball out faster after the team gave up the most sacks in the league last season (85)."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers is an electrifying target who would immediately be the go-to target in New York. He finished last season with 1,569 yards and 14 scores, dominating with his route running."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers is a catch-and-run specialist who can score from anywhere on the field."
Pick: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Analysis: "Brian Daboll helped Josh Allen in Buffalo and may see a chance to do the same with the toolsy-but-inconsistent North Carolina quarterback."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Plenty of QB chatter here, and it's understandable. However, if the Giants want to give Daniel Jones the best opportunity to be successful, they have to provide him with playmakers, and Nabers is the kind of explosive asset head coach Brian Daboll likes."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "Call this a hunch. The Giants just went through a tumultuous year. Malik Nabers is a great prospect, but has a reputation for being a little difficult to coach. Odunze, on the other hand, has A-plus character in the same way as his old teammate Trent McDuffie, and projects as a Davante Adams-type of receiver."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "There's a lot of smoke around the Giants and the quarterbacks in this draft, but the team opts here to give it one more year with Daniel Jones. They get him a hell of a lot of help with this pick, too, grabbing the most explosive receiver in the draft."
Pick: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
Analysis: "Despite Penix's injury history, the Giants feel good about the Heisman runner-up's arm strength, vision and ability to get through his progressions."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "Assuming the Giants don't move up for a quarterback, this is about as good as they could hope for. Many people consider Marvin Harrison Jr. to be the best player in this draft. If Harrison had run even a 4.4-second 40-yard dash at the combine or his pro day, the decision between him and Malik Nabers as the top wide receiver in this draft would be much tougher. But the uncertainty surrounding his speed bumped Harrison down one spot for me."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Need plus best player available aligns here in a way that's perfect for the Giants. New York has been searching for a No. 1 receiver since sending Odell Beckham Jr. to Cleveland during the 2019 offseason. It just so happens that they finally find it in another explosive Tiger talent."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "Odunze, Jalin Hyatt and Wan'Dale Robinson form one of the league's most promising wide receiver trios, showcasing a blend of youthful talent and immense potential."

Pick: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Analysis: "Big Blue gets a quarterback to compete with Daniel Jones. McCarthy comes to the NFL after leading Michigan to its first national title since 1997."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Odunze isn't quite as fast as Nabers, but he is really explosive. The former track standout from Las Vegas clocked a 4.45 40 at the combine with a 1.52 10-yard split, a 39-inch vertical and a 4.03 shuttle time. His film is even more impressive than his workout numbers. Last season, he had 92 catches for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns. Everyone who has been around him comes away impressed. His ball skills are truly elite."
Pick: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Analysis: "New York needs to build out the roster, and Bowers would be a great place to start."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "Odunze rounds out a three-quarterback, three-receiver start to this mock draft, giving the Giants a potential true No. 1 wide receiver. Odunze dropped just 3.2% of the catchable passes thrown his way this past season, while his 2.93 yards per route run average ranked eighth among his classmates."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "The Giants will be in the trade-up market for a quarterback, but if they stick at No. 6, I think it's a receiver over an offensive lineman since they brought in a few veterans in free agency to give them good flexibility at tackle and guard. From what I have heard, Odunze has been acing interviews on top of his excellent NFL scouting combine performance. His size would add something new to the Giants' starting receiver lineup."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "If the Giants miss out on the top QBs, this is the next-best scenario."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "Best-case scenario for the Giants, who stand pat and have Marvin Harrison Jr. fall in their laps."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Malik Nabers adds much-needed explosiveness, reliability and big-play ability for a group that has lacked all of those traits from a wide receiver in some time."
Pick: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Analysis: "Daniels is a player who has some high-end athletic traits that should get Brian Daboll excited to work with and get this New York offense headed in the right direction."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "OT or WR? With four QBs selected in front of them, the Giants must select an impact player to help elevate Daniel Jones. Malik Nabers will give him a dynamic and explosive run-after-catch threat to pair with Darren Waller and the rest of their weapons. A new potential WR1–OBJ 2.0?"
Pick: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Analysis: "Daniels' electric running ability and vertical passing is a great fit with Daboll, who unlocked both of those aspects while working with Josh Allen a few years ago in Buffalo."
Pick: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Analysis: "J.J. McCarthy is an incredibly efficient passer who operated in a predominantly run-heavy offense. He is slight of frame but has the mobility and accuracy to make plays out of structure. McCarthy does not have the strongest arm but throws with touch to all three levels. He is a tough player who has consistently won at every level of his career."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "Who could have predicted that Harrison Jr. would be available at No. 6 overall? He is a great fit for what the Giants want to do on offense. Harrison is a good pairing with Wan'Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt, but not as good as Malik Nabers would have been."
Pick: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Analysis: "Maye has been compared to Josh Allen, so who better to coach Maye than Allen's former offensive coordinator Brian Daboll?"
Pick: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Analysis: "New York needs help at the WR spot, but grab your guy here and go from there. Jayden Daniels is an electric athlete, but he will have to learn to take care of his body, win inside of structure, and increase his accuracy in the intermediate areas if he eyes success early. I also like the fit with Jalin Hyatt on the perimeter considering what Daniels did best (vertical shots) at LSU."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "We're already seeing Marvin Harrison Jr.'s draft stock drop a little bit with more people supporting guys like Rome Odunze and Keon Coleman, but New York's fine with that. Whether you think Harrison is the best receiver or not, one thing's for sure: the kid can ball."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The speedy Malik Nabers would be a great addition to an offense that is in major need of playmakers."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers can tear the top off of any defense, and he's the most dynamic player in the draft once the ball is in his hands."
Pick: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Analysis: "Yes, despite his relatively low usage in the passing game at Ann Arbor – where he was surrounded by a tremendous supporting cast on both sides of the ball – his stock seems to continue skyrocketing. Why? Demeanor, accuracy, leadership, athleticism, high ceiling, good decision-making. And he's a winner (27-1 record with the Wolverines)."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Malik Nabers has the upside to be the best receiver in a class that includes Harrison."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "Odunze is my WR2 by the slimmest of margins. In fact, his contested-catch ability, as well as his body control, ranks in the top 20 percentile in a 10-season sample. I also cannot believe my models didn't choose an O-lineman here either, as it is an area of big need. That should tell you how much my evaluations love Odunze."
Pick: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Analysis: "I love Quinyon Mitchell. I love his size. I love his length. I love his athleticism. I love his tenacity."
Pick: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Analysis: "McCarthy wasn't required to throw the ball 40 times per game at Michigan thanks to the team's effective ground game, but he showed himself capable of threading passes into tight windows, moving effectively within the pocket and running for big gains when given the chance."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The Giants elect to run it back with Daniel Jones as the QB1, but they finally find him a lifeline in the form of a true No. 1 receiver. Some rate Nabers as the top pass catcher in this year's draft."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "In nearly any other draft class, Malik Nabers would be the first receiver drafted and a lock to be a top-five pick. But because of Harrison Jr., he "slides" to No. 6. It's very reminiscent of when Julio Jones fell to No. 6 in the 2011 NFL Draft because A.J. Green was selected at No. 4 by the Bengals."
Pick: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Analysis: "The Giants could easily go and get Malik Nabers and add a true playmaking WR here to help Daniel Jones on the outside. Instead, they take OT2 and add more help in the trenches. You can't throw the ball if you can't protect, and the Giants understand that with the selection of Olu Fashanu in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers combines his big-play ability with a physicality needed in the Giants' receiving room."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "Nabers averaged 17.6 yards on 89 receptions in his final season with the Tigers."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The Giants aren't trying to hide their potential interest in this quarterback class, but we're going to fade the noise there and have them take an elite wide receiver prospect who would be touted as the WR1 in about 95% of draft classes. The Giants have needed a player with Nabers' skill set for almost a decade."
Pick: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Analysis: "Giants may have interest in a quarterback, but getting one of the top receivers to play alongside Darius Slayton and Jalin Hyatt would be a major win for Brian Daboll. Whether Daniel Jones is the long-term answer or not, the quarterback of the Giants in 2025 will be set up very nicely."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The pre-draft drum beat for Nabers has been getting louder, with many suggesting he could leapfrog Harrison as the first receiver chosen. Regardless of where he goes, the LSU product looks to be the premier run-after-catch threat in this year's class. Nabers' ability to instantly unlock a big-play element in this offense should be a significant selling point for the Giants, who have to field legitimate threats for Daniel Jones if they're not going to use their top pick to bring aboard his successor."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The Giants desperately need to add talented pass catchers, and one falls into their lap here. Nabers has rare movement skills and was the best receiver in college football this past season. He would immediately become the Giants' most dangerous offensive threat."
Pick: Drake Maye, QB, UNC
Analysis: "Could the New York Giants really walk out of the draft with this good of a talent without moving up? It seems that way as the Cardinals and Chargers beg for teams to trade above them. Drake Maye is an impressive athlete who can deliver haymakers downfield. He's also excellent in the short game, effectively understanding defenders' pre- and post-snap leverage. He plays a lot like Patrick Mahomes did in 2023 but doesn't have the same elite-level arm strength."
Pick: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Analysis: "The New York Giants badly need to find their future "X" receiver, and Rome Odunze would fit that profile quite well. Most sources we've spoken with believe he'll be an 8–10-year starter at the next level due to his size, athleticism, and football character."
Pick: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Analysis: "The Giants are a real wild card at the top of the draft. Not conclusively out of the quarterback market, they could also draft a receiver or an offensive lineman. Here, they grab Malik Nabers to finally give them an elite No. 1 receiver."
