NewYork-Presbyterian and the New York Giants were proud to welcome the newest members of Big Blue Nation last month in the first annual New York Giants New Fan Ceremony. The event was founded on the Giants' and NewYork-Presbyterian's commitment to celebrating fans, beginning with the littlest ones.
"We're here today to honor the relationship we have with the New York Giants," said Andrea Sansotta, Director of Marketing at NewYork-Presbyterian. "NewYork-Presbyterian is really proud to be delivering the next generation of Giants fans. That's really what we're here to celebrate, to welcome these newborns to be Giants fans for life."
"Bringing together people has always been a timeless tradition for the New York Giants, and being here with NewYork-Presbyterian, we're welcoming these newest fans with open arms into the Giants family," said Pete Guelli, Sr. Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at the New York Giants.
As part of the festivities, the team's newest fans, along with their parents, were given a behind-the-scenes look at MetLife Stadium, which included a private tour of the Giants locker room. The families were also given the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Giants legends David Tyree and Carl Banks.
"Today, we're welcoming your newest team members into Big Blue Nation and I'm honored to officially induct the Class of 2019 as fan's for life of the New York Giants," said two-time Super Bowl champion David Diehl, the host of Saturday's New York Giants New Fan Ceremony, presented by NewYork-Presbyterian.
The team is thrilled to welcome the next generation of Giants fans to the Big Blue family, and cannot wait to see them back at MetLife Stadium cheering on the Giants soon.
