EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Giants have signed defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo.
Odenigbo, 6-3 and 258 pounds, played in his first three NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, who selected him in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He did not play in his first game until 2018, with Arizona. He returned to the Vikings in 2019, when he recorded his first career sack – a 12-yard takedown of Daniel Jones.

In Minnesota, Odenigbo played in 32 games with 15 starts and recorded 59 tackles (34 solo), 10.5 sacks, 28 quarterback hits, 10 tackles for loss, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.
Last season, Odenigbo started all 15 games in which he played and had a career-high 35 tackles (16 solo) and 3.5 sacks. He played in all 16 games the previous season, when he registered a career-best 7.0 sacks.
Odenigbo, who turns 27 on April 8, played collegiate football at Northwestern.
