The second week of free agency is in the books, and it is safe to say that the Giants left their mark on this offseason.
The Giants got things rolling by signing 2020 team sack leader Leonard Williams to a new contract. Among a flurry of other moves, Big Blue landed Kenny Golladay to bolster Daniel Jones' group of offensive weapons. The Giants weren't done though, as a few days later, they signed promising young cornerback Adoree' Jackson to complement Pro Bowler James Bradberry.

As they do every offseason, experts from media outlets across the country handed out grades to every team for their signings this offseason. While there are some talented free agents still available, the Giants have already earned some high marks for their moves the last few weeks.
Here are what some media outlets are saying about the Giants' offseason:
Pro Football Network's Michael Tanier - Grade: A
"The slow-and-steady approach paid off. (Dave) Gettleman got (Leonard) Williams and tackle Nate Solder to re-sign, nabbed the biggest prize in free agency in (Kenny) Golladay, and didn't absorb significant losses."
CBS Sports' Patrik Walker - Grade: A
"Dave Gettleman and Co. aren't kidding around in 2021. They've been the biggest spenders in the division in free agency, and while time will reveal if that translates to wins during the regular season, you'd be remiss to give them anything but high marks for what they've accomplished ahead of the calendar flipping to April. CBS Sports broke the news on March 17 that the Giants were trying hard to close in on wideout Kenny Golladay and, following an extended visit, they were successful in inking him to a massive four-year deal. Before the champagne was Swiffered off of the floor, they had already also reeled in former first-round pick Adoree Jackson, who'll join James Bradberry in the defensive backfield while a now-extended Leonard Williams pushes the defensive front -- having finally landed his multiyear deal after initially being tagged a second time."
Pro Football Focus' Sam Monson and Brad Spielberger - Grade: Above Average
"The Giants had two clear objectives coming into this offseason: retain DI Leonard Williams and add a true 'X' wide receiver on the outside for QB Daniel Jones. Neither deal was cheap — far from it — but they managed to get both done, nonetheless."
Sports Illustrated's Connor Orr on signing of Kenny Golladay - Grade: A-
"This is probably the most sensible marriage of need and player that we've seen so far in free agency. The Giants were developing a good enough receiving corps around Daniel Jones, but Golladay pushes them into a unit that now dictates opposing coverage, instead of the other way around. Golladay is wonderfully well-rounded and can attack the defense comfortably on the sideline or over the middle."
Bleacher Report's Alex Kay - Grade: A-
"Being patient during the free-agent process can be rewarding, which the New York Giants found out when they landed their top target to start what is a pivotal offseason. The G-Men scored the best wideout in Kenny Golladay... Big Blue didn't stop there, snagging a marquee cornerback in Adoree' Jackson after the 2017 first-rounder was released by the Tennessee Titans. Those two flashy signings were rounded out by a handful of value deals for players such as Ifeadi Odenigbo, John Ross and Kyle Rudolph, who should play significant roles on relatively cheap contracts. With New York also hanging on to elite pass-rusher Leonard Williams, it appears ready to return to the postseason and should be fun to watch."
