Giants sign wide receiver Damion Willis

DAMION-WILLIS

The New York Giants continued a series of roster moves on Saturday with the signing of wide receiver Damion Willis, who most recently played in a game in 2019 with the Cincinnati Bengals.

The 6-foot-3, 204-pounder played in all 10 of his career games (two starts) that season, catching nine passes for 82 yards. During his time in Cincinnati, Willis was teammates with fellow receiver John Ross, who signed with the Giants as a free agent this offseason. Willis, who went undrafted out of Troy in 2019, also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos, who released him this month.

Earlier in the day, the Giants signed veteran linebacker Todd Davis and announced that second-year offensive tackle Matt Peart passed his physical and will return to practice.
