PFF ranks Andrew Thomas' 2019 season among the best in recent years
Andrew Thomas put together a phenomenal three-year career at Georgia.
Thomas immediately stepped into the Bulldogs' starting lineup as a true freshman, starting every game at right tackle and earning Freshman All-American honors. As a sophomore, he switched over to left tackle where he would be named First-Team All-SEC and First-Team All-American.
This was all leading up to his final season at Georgia, where he enjoyed an outstanding junior campaign.
Thomas started 13 games at left tackle last year. His achievements include yet another selection as First-Team All-SEC, Unanimous All-American honors, and the SEC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the conference's top offensive lineman. He was Georgia's first recipient of the award in 21 years.
The offensive tackle's dominance went beyond his accolades, though. According to Pro Football Focus, Thomas' overall grade of 92.7 was the highest grade for a Power-5 offensive tackle in his final collegiate season since the 2016 draft.

NFL to host meeting with owners to discuss season, social initiatives
With training camp set to begin towards the end of next month, the NFL is planning to meet with team owners to discuss several topics on Thursday.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the league office will host a video conference meeting with owners to address training camp, 2020 season planning, "Inspire Change" social justice programs and workplace diversity.
A few weeks ago, the league announced that it would be committing $250 million over a 10-year period towards organizations and efforts across the country aimed at combating systemic racism.
As for the COVID-19 pandemic that continues to affect both our country and the entire world, the league has already taken numerous steps in order to make team and league facilities as safe as possible for all employees.
Despite the ongoing pandemic and all the uncertainties surrounding it, Rapoport reports that training camp is still scheduled to begin on July 28.
The Giants' COVID-19 Task Force has been working hard to make the Quest Diagnostics Training Center as safe as possible. Many important changes have been made for the safety of Giants employees in accordance with guidelines from the CDC, NFL, National Institute of Health, and the State of New Jersey.
Most important is the requirement for employees who are returning to the facility to take their temperature before leaving home, and staying home if their temperature is over 100.4 F. Employees will then have their temperature taken at the facility.
Before employees enter they will be required to complete a daily form to confirm that they are healthy and able to return to the building. After parking, they will walk through the lot with a face covering on and proceed directly to the main entrance.
There will be only one entrance to the building.
There will be signs and floor markings to direct where to stand before entering.

Using hand sanitizer is required before entering the building. The Giants will provide all the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to keep employees safe as social distancing remains in place. Sanitizing stations are located throughout the facility.

Per the NFL's Phase One Guidelines, the Giants have assembled an Infection Response Team (IRT) and a team of Infection Control Officers (ICOs) to protect Giants employees. Employees will receive a card with the names and phone numbers of ICOs before or when they return to work at the facility.
