Mike Derice is in his third season as a national scout with the Giants.
Prior to joining the Giants in 2022, Derice spent 10 years with the Indianapolis Colts, including nine as an area scout with a focus on the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic regions.
He began his tenure in Indianapolis as a scouting assistant in 2012.
Derice previously worked at his alma mater, Stony Brook University, first as special assistant to the athletics director (2008-09) and then as director of football operations (2009-2012).
Derice played cornerback for the Seawolves prior to graduating with a bachelor's degree in health care management.
He is a native of Brooklyn, N.Y. and attended Brooklyn Tech High School, where he played quarterback, wide receiver, and cornerback.
Derice resides on Long Island with his wife, Soleil, and children Brielle (7) and Michael, Jr (4).
