Justin Markus is in his first season as the Giants' scout in the BLESTO Scouting Combine.
Markus was a scouting assistant for the Giants in 2022. The previous season, he was the coaches' video intern for the Jets. In 2020, Markus was a recruiting assistant at Rice University.
Markus was a member of the football team at Butler University from 2015-2019. Initially recruited as a cornerback, he also played safety and linebacker before finishing his collegiate career as a defensive end.
He graduated from Butler with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing.
A native of New Lenox, Ill., Markus played football at Lincoln-Way Central High School.
